The Message is Power

The Power Behind a Strong Brand’s Message

Words can spark emotion, inspiration, motivation, creativity, even destruction. When choosing which words to associate with your brand, think about what you believe your brand stands for. Once you have a clear idea of your brand’s message -its purpose of existence, sum it up in a few words or quotes. These few words will grasp your audience’s attention and cause them to want to be apart of your brand.

Simon Sinek

“People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe”  – Simon Sinek

It’s All About Concept

The concept behind your brand is what generates an audience, not your products. The products are just a plus.

There was a brand/organization that wanted to save the turtles -you remember #SaveTheTurtles. This brand “saved the turtles” by offering a product that would help reduce the number of straws that ended up in the ocean. This concept, their message, became so powerful it became a movement that led everyone to shift to paper and metal straws. No one enjoys using paper straws, they enjoy the concept of being able to save the turtles.

Your Brand’s Message/Concept/Why

It won’t be easy, but you have to find your brand’s message, concept, or why. But the better you know your brand’s message/concept/why, the stronger your audience base will become because “They believe what you believe” (Simon Sinek). So what’s your brand’s concept?
